The kit
Smart badges for students and staff—and plug-in nodes that listen quietly so the building knows who’s where.
Credit-card-sized wearables with an e-ink display, full-year battery life, and two buttons: one to request passes, and a programmable function button that can do what you set—by default, panic help for staff. Same hardware; roles decide what each badge can do.
Wall-outlet and ceiling nodes cover classrooms and hallways. They hear the badges and power the location picture for attendance and safety—no facilities overhaul required.
Place nodes on a campus map, scan to commission badges, and verify coverage room by room. Your team can stand up the hardware without waiting on a weeks-long services engagement.
Why it feels light
Not every student wears an ID today—but after a short stretch, PowerPass should feel as natural as a backpack: display, pass request, and a programmable function button on something people just have on them.
Outlet nodes for rooms. Higher-precision ceiling nodes where traffic densifies. Map them, turn them on, move on.
Once badges and nodes are live, SIS, schedules, and rules take over—so day-to-day isn’t hardware babysitting.
